Lev is a handsome teddy bear made from soft beige scruffy pile viscose fabric. He has an exquisitely hand embroidered nose, careful airbrushing and onyx eyes. His feet and inner ears are crafted from aged newspaper print fabric that give him a charming antique appearance. He is weighted with glass granules and has a delightful kidney bean shaped body. Lev wears a handmade vintage effect hat on an elastic string and a wool scarf around his neck.
Lev is a one-of-a-kind design made especially for The Bear Garden.

Bearthquake is the brain child of Siberian-born bear artist Olga Shashkina. A graduate in Philology (the study of language in oral and written historical sources) and a former journalist, Olga draws inspiration from her travels combining her love of story-telling with the crafting of her characterful bears and creatures. She has been creating her distinctive bears since 2011 and lives in Moscow, Russia. She regularly participates in competitions, exhibitions and fairs all over the world.
