Ecclefechan is made from sumptuously soft patterned faux fur in muted shades of taupe, grey, green and brown and mauve tipped pink faux fur with flashes of long grey mohair. He is partially stuffed and weighted with poly-pellets to give him a slightly heavier weight. His gorgeous hand-painted eyes have delicate felt lid, he has tie-dyed velvet feet and his nose has been expertly embroidered using co-ordinating coloured threads.

Ecclefechan is a one-of-a-kind design made especially for The Bear Garden.

Barbara-Ann Bears are made by talented husband and wife team of Barbara-Ann and Andy Cunningham in Scotland. They are known around the world for their creative, colourful and wacky designs! Barbara hand-dyes her own mohair and fabrics, and as nearly every bear is a one-of-a-kind creation, no two are ever the same! Andy has the painstaking task of embroidering the noses. This is done from many layers of co-ordinating, soft-cotton tapestry thread, which perfectly complement the bear's mohair.
