This enchanting set from Steiff's Fairytales series, inspired by classic fairytales, has been created to depict the characters from the Brothers Grimm tale The Frog Prince. The story is about a handsome prince who is turned into a frog by an evil witch. A Princess came to play by the lake where the Frog Prince lived and one day, accidently drops her golden ball into the lake. The Frog Prince rescues the ball, which sinks to the bottom of the lake and the Princess gives him a kiss of thanks. The Frog Prince turns back into a handsome Prince and the pair live happily ever after.

Made from the finest wool plush and cotton velvet, the Princess and the Frog Prince both wear delicate golden crowns and the Princess is resplendent in her beautiful pink tulle dress trimmed with golden braiding. Both characters have a gold plated "Button in Ear".

This set is limited to only 1,000 pieces and comes with a numbered certificate in a Steiff gift box with its original protective cardboard outer sleeve.
