Obelix is Asterix's inseparable companion, and along with Idefix his faithful dog, the trio go on countless adventures! Obelix has superhuman strength, after falling into a cauldron as a child whilst the druid of the village, Panoramix, was preparing his magic potion. Sculptor and trader of menhirs, Obelix loves nothing more than to hunt wild boar and outwit the Roman Legionnaires. He is often heard to say; "Ils sont fous ces Romains?" which means "Are those Romans crazy?"

This iconic character is made from the finest mohair and is limited to only 750 pieces. Obelix is the third character in this series following the success of the dog Idefix (known as Dogmatix in the UK) and Asterix.

He comes with his numbered certificate in a Steiff gift box with its original protective cardboard outer sleeve.
