Steiff's exquisite Little Felt Elephant gives a respectful nod to the little elephant pin cushion that so modestly began the company in 1880. This charming piece is crafted from the finest winter white wool felt and wears a blue and yellow felt saddle bearing the initials 'A S'. Anna Steiff was Margarete's sister-in-law and was the recipient of the very first elephant that Margarete created. The saddle is attached by hand and secured with 14 black pins that echo the design of the elephant's eyes. Her gold plated "Button in Ear" features the elephant motif to mark Steiff's 140th jubilee year.

She is limited to 1,880 pieces worldwide and comes with her numbered certificate in a Steiff gift box with its original protective cardboard outer sleeve.
