Basko Teddy Bear Keyring by Steiff - 11cm

Steiff

Catalogue number: 028434

In 1919, following post-war shortages of mohair and wool, Steiff began to create bears from alternative materials. Steiff's Teddies for Tomorrow series pays homage to these bears that were inadvertently created from more eco-friendly and sustainable materials following these shortages. Following in the footsteps of his predecessors in this series made from paper and hemp, this handsome Basko teddy bear keyring is crafted from a durable, yet beautifully soft fabric woven from recycled PET bottles and he is filled with PES fibres. He can be suspended from his secure metal keyring or this can be removed replaced by a ribbon to turn this sweet teddy bear into an ornament.
