The 1926 replica teddy bear is inspired by, and embodies, the charm and mood of the 'Roaring Twenties'! This cheerful teddy bear has a less pronounced snout, a friendly face and endearing glass eyes. He is crafted from the finest brown tipped mohair as the most coveted of the original bears were. Filled with wood shavings in the traditional way and with a delightful squeaker, this bear is almost impossible to resist! He features a correct period reproduction tag in his ear with a patented underscored steel 'Button in Ear' and his modern tag on his side.

An original 1926 tipped mohair teddy bear sold at auction in 2002 still holds the World Record for the most expensive auctioned antique teddy bear in history; a testament to the beauty and charm of the exquisite bears from this era.

He is limited to 926 pieces and comes with his numbered certificate in a Steiff gift box with its original protective cardboard outer sleeve.
